These next two weeks are the last of the No-News NFL Season, as we prepare for camps to open.
I figured, why not show Bills vs. Patriots photos?

DJ Moore lands in Buffalo!

DJ has not exactly lit the NFL on fire while at Carolina and Detroit, but who did he have throwing him the ball?
Does he reinvent his career with Josh Allen? I mean DJ is not over 30 yet
Is DJ the missing piece on this offense?
Does going from an indoor stadium to a very cold outdoor one affect him?
Geno lands back with the Jets!

Geno has clearly changed is career in last 4 years, will he bring that to the Jets?
Does the Seattle version show up, or the Las Vegas version?
IMO, Geno got screwed in Vegas. He comes to a team that is simply put, in dire need to win some games for HC/GM. He will have a better OL, better WRs. Geno will hold the ship and win more games than last yea.
… Then the Police stuff happened this week

Doubs lands in New England!

Romeo has been just a role player in GB. That maybe the reason for the mediocrity. GB always had a crowded WR room, and many with similar talent. Throw in a real good TE, and you end up with very few opportunities.
Will Doubs finally emerge as primary WR? Even with AJ Brown in town? Meaning, will he command more targets than he had in GB.
I really believe that he is a very talented WR, just in wrong place with wrong QB. I like Maye over Love, and Doubs should flourish in NE, even with AJ. I see Doubs as one of the top WR2 in the game, certainly in our division.
Chris Bell lands in Miami!

Will he regain his form once healthy?
Will he help Malik at all in 2026?
Chris Bell has been a favorite of mine all off-season. I actually picked him in both Dynasty leagues (in ours I trade a future #1 for him), with the 10th pick. I really feel, eventually when healthy, and a QB is in place, Chris becomes a legit #1 WR in the NFL.
Welcome to the AFCE, AJ Brown!

My take:
The positive: AJ is an incredible upgrade for Maye. He will help the QB immensely in year 2. The Patriots did NOT have a WR capable of stretching the field, the way AJ can. Their success relied on some crazy passes by Maye, and that is not sustainable. Brown, together with Doubs, will immediately improve this O. AJ is also familiar with the HC, as the two have already worked together. This move gives the Patriots a shot at repeating as divisional champs.
The Negative: AJ Brown has been a lousy locker room guy in Philly for the last two years. He didn’t get along with either OC and QB. Something that a WR has to do, in order to be the focal point of that O, as he wanted to be. These traits scare me. Yes, he worked with Vrabel, but that was when AJ was a youngster in the league. Now his head has grown in size, and he is NOT the same person he was at TEN. The other concern for me is his age together with his health issues. Patriots will need to manage his snaps to keep him around all season. But, does he accept sitting a few plays a game?
Final Thoughts: After playing in the SB last season, the Patriots have to keep improving. Not sure anyone including HC believed they would have had the success they had in 2025-6. Clearly, to keep improving, you have to get more players, and Brown has played in SBs. Overall, hard to argue with the Patriots in making this trade, not every day you can get your hands on one of the top WRs in the league.
Jets were a huge disappointment last season, in every facet of the game. HC?GM were on fans chopping block, and many felt that Woody “Adolf ” Johnson wanted to fire Glenn after one season.

Will a good draft and free agent signings improve things?
Will Geno become the Seattle version of Geno?
Will the D finally get a an INT?
Will they get to the QB? Second worst sack totals last season
It all better happen, or heads will roll yet again setting things back years. Continuity is something that this team has not had since Weeb Ewbank, it’s time!
Patriots surprised the NFL and even their fans a year ago. First by winning the division that had been owned by the Bills. Second by making it to the SB, where eventually their weakness showed up.

Will they do it again?
Is Maye ready to make a big jump and follow Tom’s success?
Will the Russini/Vrabel tabloid bonanza affect the team?
If Maye improves, this team has all the tools to win the division again. Making it to the SB again? Not so sure, but, hey, they did it a year ago?
Dolphins world came crashing down in 2025, and heads rolled, as they should have. Tua was released as well as many others, and Waddle traded.

Will a real good draft turn things around?
How good can Malik be as a starter?
Will the team try to win, or is tanking the only task?
They have tanked before (Suck For Luck), but it didn’t help. Although the HC and GM have free rein to lose, will that keep the fans happy?
